Thank you for your interest in vom Amaris K9.  We offer fine Doberman Pinschers and German Shepherds raised by our family for yours. Our goals at vom Amaris are to improve the breeds through proper genetic trait selectivity and the earliest possible handling and socialization. We spend hundreds of hours (along with our children) interacting, handling and observing each litter. We feel that proper early stimulation and interaction with each pup helps foster high bonding with humans and creates companionship and respect which logically eases resistance to later advanced training. Most kennels in today's "make a quick dollar" mentality will breed almost any two randomly acquired dogs just to produce puppies with little regard to selection of correct type breeding.

      In most cases the only socialization the puppies have is with each other and once a day when they are fed and cleaned up after. Unfortunately for the people who buy from such breeders, they will be lucky if they have one pup ( about 10% of the entire litter) that could be considered an outstanding representation of the breed. Our stock includes young adults, trained dogs, and puppies by reservation. Amaris breeding stock are screened by our own veterinarians for potential large breed prone disorders such as von Willerbrand's disease, hypothyroidism, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Hip and Elbow Dysplacia. 

     Vom Amaris Doberman and Shepherd Puppies are desensitized beginning at age two weeks with various forms of stimuli and positive socialization. A loving and structured environment, along with the sound genetic blueprints developed in the AMARIS dog, give you the ultimate in a loyal family guardian of sound mind and body.      Dobermans are placed "Medically Complete". The tails are docked, dew claws removed, ears are custom cropped and set in correct stance. Inoculations and de-worming are current to date.

    All dogs are permanently identified with the AVID Micro Chip.

      Pre-purchase training programs are available for all AMARIS pups, prior to placement in your home. Services range from basic on-leash training, finished obedience dog, to protection. House training programs are available for those that do not have the time to properly structure a training curriculum for a young dog. Limited space available.
